Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, Trader Joe's was the biggest clusterfuck I've seen since shortly after they opened. It was Soviet-style TJ's -- long lines, no food. And apparently they aren't even carrying my favorite horseradish cheddar spread anymore, so I got the pub cheese. And then I still had to go to my regular grocery store after, for things like ONIONS.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Thanks for the warning! I was going to go after work, but I think now I'll go to WF instead.

Holy ass. I mean, maybe the one in Brooklyn would be better? Also, maybe after work would be better, since all of Manhattan apparently had the bright idea I did, that "people" were "at work" today.

Damn. John Travolta's 16 year old son died. [link] That's got to be one of the saddest things to happen to a family.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That is so sad. It is so hard for children to die before parents.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

so I got the pub cheese

The pub cheese is awesome, though I can see how it would be lacking if you're wanting the horseradish-y kick.

We shall see. I bought ingredients for a million other things, so I will try to avoid eating the cheese for a bit.

Art Crawl!!!

What is pub cheese?

(So sadly lacking in either a TJs or a WF.)

And how very sad about Travolta's son.

Our wings are not tired.

Such sad news for the Travolta family.

Miami traffic today hampered by shoes. Thousands of shoes. [link]

What is pub cheese?

It's spreadable cheese, like Kaukauna.
