Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Man, I got SO WASTED for Marconi-fest '09, I can't even remember what I broadcast over my wireless radio!

Hee!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not trading in my Roses lime for lime and powdered sugar in my vodka gimlet.

Powdered sugar...I had only ever considered sugar syrup with the fresh juice. Inneresting.

Discovered the lime daquiri over the holidays, which I adore, with or without rum (for some reason at this hotel lime daquiri defaulted to virgin, but at the volume I was indulging, plus the meds, probably for the best). CRACK.

Randomly, I get illogically annoyed when I can't see any movie I think of relatively soon on the cable. I have seen multiple references to High Society over the past couple of days, and is it on demand? No it is not. Bah.

Too bad I'm no longer in NY. That is one of my all-time favorites and most watched movies with my sister, along with The Thin Man and (inexplicably) Shag: The Movie.

Shag, like the one where the girls take a roadtrip and do the dancing contest, and all that? I haven't seen that movie in YEARS, but we loved that movie in college! OMG, now I really want to see that again!!!

Our wings are not tired.

Mouth is watering over the notion of a lime daiquiri. I have a lime tree, but my son gobbles them up before I get a chance to indulge.

Are you back in the states, ita?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I haven't seen that movie in YEARS, but we loved that movie in college! OMG, now I really want to see that again!!!

Ditto ditto!! With the bevos and the free love and Malena being WAY out of control!

Please note that Shag is also unavailable to me at this time.

Home now (eta: other home--I realise I refer opaquely to my apartment and Jamaica both as home) , and so is my bag, which they managed to misplace yesterday. Back to the normal life, or an approximation thereof.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Discovered the lime daquiri over the holidays, which I adore, with or without rum (for some reason at this hotel lime daquiri defaulted to virgin, but at the volume I was indulging, plus the meds, probably for the best). CRACK.

When we went out for breakfast today (at 2 p.m.), my entree came with a side dish of pineapple, which INSTANTLY made me crave a pina colada.

I still want one, 7 hours later.
