And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yeah, that's been making the feminist blogosphere rounds. It's pretty disgusting.

Yeah, that's been making the feminist blogosphere rounds.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's pretty disgusting.

I couldn't bring myself to read the whole thing. Is he arguing from religious reasons? Or just wankerish ones?

These. Also, I suspect he has a really hard time getting laid on account of being an utter douchenozzle.

IIRC, the argument for the case did exactly revolve around how "public" the pavilion was. It was certainly not consecrated, at least.

Yeah, this is the best summary of the decision I've been able to find: [link]

The pavilion has enjoyed a special real property tax exemption provided by the state for properties open to the public as places of public accommodation. The association had certified that when the pavilion was not being used for its own religiously-based programs, it would be open to the public on "an equal basis," which explains the practice of not inquiring into the religious nature of wedding ceremonies held there. It is well established that religious ownership of a place of public accommodation does not exempt the place from the anti-discrimination law.

The "wife not wanting to have sex is the same as the husband not wanting to go to work" argument is making my head spin.

I just can't even... a wife not wanting to do housework or go to her own *!&*$* job is equivelent, oh except for the pay wrt to housework.

What to do if you live in a 3×3x3m apartment.

organiCube

Getting all the facilities on a groundfloor of 9sqm, functional elements have to be compact and compressed. Through compression things get folded. These foldings are a functional alement as well and the Cube provides a high standard of accommodation for one or two people, defining main facilities: living/sleeping/working and a separate bathroom. At one place a line shapes for example the wardrobe and a few steps further it flows into a completely different living setup. All featured curves have their distinctive function and purpose. Through this moving and fluid interior the cube should bring harmony to residents in a sensual way.

eta: It sorta looks like what Aliens would do for an apartment if they had an Apple aesthetic.
