You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

hip deep in pie

I think my great-grandparents had one of those for their steam-powered difference engine....

Hey! it's only 7 years old! Maybe 8.

Another advantage: It's now very hard for my cat to block my entire view of the monitor when she wants my attention.

Compassionately intolerant

Bonny, you wanna come out and organize my place? I really have to work on it this week. I've got my list of New Years resolutions, and organization is up there.

Love to! I'm a pro, ya know.

I don't do much clutter clearing anymore though because a lot of the folks who hired me just thought they wanted their stuff cleared up.

I figure, if it isn't a health hazard or materialy limiting one's life, clutter really isn't that big a deal. Plus? Order is an ebb and flow sorta thing.

I feel bad for one of my clients who behaves guilitly around me because she's let her house go after I whipped it into shape. As if I'd be disappointed in her or something. Nope, not the momma!

I do miss that type of work sometimes becuase I do so love the satisfaction of the tangivle results. Today, I'm getting them for myself!

Gronk!

thanks for the birthday wishes. It wasn't much of a day. I've been cleaning in preparation for selling stuff before my move. Today I woke up with a sore throat and am feeling aweful, but had to keep cleaning anyway.

I wrestled the futon cover back onto the couch, but when I was zipping it back up, the zipper pull came right off the end of the zipper! I have no idea how to get it back on!

I have way too much stuff and am actually looking forward to unemployment so I can get more done. I need to start hauling stuff to Goodwill or somewhere.

Anyway, my woes pale in comparison to what is happening around Nilly and Shir. peace ~ma to your little country. We all appreciate the updates. Let's us know you're ok.

Nilly, the Simpson's kipa is fabulous. So cool!

didn't need to say it twice!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, happy birthday, quester!!

ION, whenever I brush my cat, she becomes the happiest living entity in the universe.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthday Quester!

Did the entire pull apparatus come off the zipper teeth or did the tab come off the pull.

For the former, you just sort of patiently wrestle it on evenly (you'll have to remove the stops at either the top or bottom of the zipper) . For the latter, a safety pin should do the trick.

Our wings are not tired.

Ah, a quester sighting! Happy Birthday! It may not have been much of a day, but may the year to come be the best.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

So here's the Simpsons kipa that I finished on Thursday night, for the wedding of a dear family friend.

That's fantastic!

After 10 days off, I work Monday and Tuesday this week, and then off again for 5 days. It doesn't seem worth going in for 2 days, but there's a lot of shit that needs to get done, so I'm going for the impress-the-boss effect.

There was no stop at the end, which is why it came clean off, the whole apparatus! And I can't figure out which way it should go back on. the end it came off of is uneven.

Hmm. I wish I was there, quester, because I can usually get them back on. Is the zipper zipped?
