So I have the loaner car for another day ("the blue bobblemobile", I believe he called it) because the wrong part was delivered to the shop today. At least this time I was able to get a loaner, because otherwise, I'd be kinda a mess.
Turns out a combination of one of the bulb assemblies & the wiring to it was shorting everything out. But it wasn't blowing fuses for some other weird reason (like, the bulb was dead or something.) So they're replacing that whole bit.

And W is short - much shorter than you'd have thought (did anyone else notice that in photos of the transition team they're almost all tall people?). And, to be honest, Laura Bush is prettier than she photographs.
