Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went out for potato pancakes, and am now attempting to nap. But it's not working!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have lost the ability to sleep and I have forgotten my Ambien in the capital. Last night wasn't pretty.

Oh, and Noah's not visiting me for about three years. Well, he can come to my door.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My sympathies, ita. I didn't take my Ambien last night and I really should have. I always end up with a headache when I don't. Nothing compared to your migraines, fortunately, but who wants to wake up to any kind of pain?

Huh. It's 63 degrees out.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, ita. Sleeping's sort of a non-starter for me, too. I'm also doing the family travel thing, which is lovely in many ways, but not in solid sleep.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Huh. It's 63 degrees out.

This was what I said yesterday morning. This morning it was more along the lines of "brrrr." Spitting rain/mix and 28 degrees. A 35 degree difference in the high should really be illegal. Really.

Thrive to spite them

I have the a/c on. Mostly because my apartment is always warm.

Also in lounge wear, the same as yesterday. I got the most comfortable pair of pants and jacket. Tomorrow Ill wear real clothes. Maybe.

It's very springlike here. Which I could appreciate, except my flight is currently 3 hours late. Which wouldn't be so bad (more kid time) except it gets me in near midnight and I hate that. It's been 3 hours late since noon. (It isn't until almost 6.) Whack.

I'm actually very cranky about that because BWI is of the suck after about 9. They have maybe one baggage handler and he's asleep.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Pretty foggy heren but it's not really rained yet, so that is good. I took mac to a friend's today and had over 5 hours to hang with my friend. I also have a full set of fake nail tips now. I hope a few months of this will break the biting habit.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Austin, don't move to the desert. That's pretty the norm here. Our lows this week are all predicted to be in the 40s and the highs in the 70s. Not that I'm complaining! Monday's high in Pasadena is supposed to be 74. Whee! Looks like they're going to have nice weather for the Rose Parade. It's only 58 right now, so I'm looking forward to the warmer temps.
