I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I have a charity auction on Sunday. I'll see Smonster and Amyth there, and it's a nice excuse to dress up. Otherwise I'll be trying to remember what I did before family health issues and politics ate my life.

I think I might read a book, uninterrupted, on Saturday. I have good, if distant, memories of that activity.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am also going to the shoe guy and the nail place. Stay tuned for other fascinating errands!

And I really need to do some work, given how badly I've fucked off this whole week. Next time, I'm going to need a week off for the election, apparently...

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Current Gov, babe.

I've been out of the political junkie business for eight years. It was too painful. I'm still getting my sea legs back.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'll be trying to decide if I want to shop for snow boots for the kids in town or ordering from Lands End.

Then the usual--grocery shopping, laundry and naps.

information libertarian

I am working 8 hours on Sunday. Ugh. And I already took the comp time. And I have a homework assignment due tomorrow that still needs a couple hours of work on it. Plus overdue library books, grocery shopping, and laundry.

Calgon take me away.

Punishingly Intricate

Tonight is First Friday in my neighborhood and I think I'll stop up to my friends' store where they are having an event and to the boutique next door to get a cocktail.

One day this weekend I'm going on a walk/run w/ best friend and to the B'more art museum which is her request for November birthday (I'm doing something with her once a month for a year to celebrate her 40th b'day back in May).

And then lots of cleaning, organizing, freaking leaf raking. some yoga. And, I hope, a nap.
