I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

DE - yep, we have and he does that some also, although the books we have gotten are harder to follow. I may have a book up in the closet, in fact.

Wow, nothing to put a damper on spending desires than a quick look at the balnces on cards. I have one thing I need to still get and I guess I should go do that over lunch.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I think I need more for mac's stocking

Scratch-off lottery ticket.

(What? That's what my mom puts in our stockings....)

Okay, maybe not for a 7-year-old.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish my lunch were here.

Punishingly Intricate

For the stocking, I often got a fancy toothbrush (and in my easter basket, too), and of course an orange.

Me too! Plus a book and art supplies.

oh man, this is the first year I won't have a stocking! I'm suddenly absurdly sad about that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That reminds me to bring some of the stupid crap I have in my house to put in my parents' stockings. Some of it possibly from my own stocking in past years.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If I can help it, I am not leaving the house today.

information libertarian

In my family, grownups still get stockings. This means I have to stuff my own, but so be it! So far I am getting Raven Red nail polish and Lindor dark chocolate mint truffles.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

New Orleans Bread Pudding w/Whisky Sauce
Molasses Spice Cake w/Orange Buttercream Frosting

These seem the most holiday to me.

I must say that, although I'll miss being with family on Christmas Day, I am loving the presents coming to me thing: having the UPS guy leave packages for me (for once), seeing the presents under the tree and wondering what they are, resisting opening them (because I'm all alone so who would know?). Also, not having to come up with stocking stuffers is an extra bonus.

ETA: In keeping with the Christmas insanity that is my family, stockings get crazy packed.

Oh, thanks Ginger - those stains look cool.

Of course, in lieu of staining, I could just paint it pink and put some unicorn and rainbow stickers on it....
