Art Crawl!!!

Well, I lucked out - it's terribly cold out but not so very windy so I did not quite turn into a popsicle while waiting for the bus.

Also, I timed it right so I didn't have to wait for the bus for very long.

And it's a balmy -5 degrees. Sunny - yes. And cold. January weather in December.

But, we're supposed to get snow tonight so it's going to warm up to positive numbers.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not warm today. not at all. Thankfully I am outside blessed little.

Last week mac started wanting to cross the street to school by himself, I stand on the far corner and watch him go in. I had no idea if it would last, but this morning I was told again, you stay here. He has now decided that even if we get there early enough for him to have to wait outside inline before they open the doors, I should not come across the street with him. This is a big big step, a good one.

People, I am at work with nothing to do and wishing I was home. We need to talk about something. Help!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

We need to talk about something. Help!

Have we mentioned that it's fucking cold outside?

Aw. It's damned cold here for Alabama. When I got here, it was 70. Dropped into the 40s/30s (20s overnight and wind) the past two days. About the same as home, but this house does not cope well in those temps. Supposed to be back in the 50s/60s/70s the rest of the week.

Day 1 of making myself ignore work.

I still have a shitload of shopping to do. Should be able to do it in a couple trips, but still. I really fell down on the shopping this year. Seriously. I have ONE thing for my mother, the easiest person to shop for usually. A couple things I wanted to get, I couldn't. Couldn't come up with anything else. Waiting for the boys to wake up, the slackers.

hip deep in pie

We only had a little snow, but it's blowing a gale. Fortunately the snow was very wet, and it's not blowing around.

I am making cookies from frozen dough, because my mother thought she had chocolate chips in the house, but doesn't.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm trying to decide on Christmas dessert. I'll be posting suggestions shortly.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

But did you spoil your nephews, Sara?

I got a ton of crap for Kristen's stocking. Stockings are fun.

I'm so freakin sleepy. Don't WANNA go to work. I got up early to go to the gym, and then promptly curled back up in bed for I was chilly and cranky.

Am gonna do my best. That's some of the shopping to be done. Problem was I'd tell my brother "I'm going to get them X when I get in town" and he'd come back with "I just won a bid on X on ebay!" I was about to strangle him. He was stealing my ideas.
