Hubby developed the "fun", adolescent-boy trick of pointing farts at Amon. This stopped when Amon gave his butt a good swat with claws. I pointed out that Hubby had no one to blame but himself, which he conceded. I've also seen Shadow, Hubby's cat, stumble to his feet, shake his head hard, and bolt from the bed after a ripper. This prompted much amusement.

I figured out how Loki's knocking the water over: he loops his paw into the handle (it is one of these inverted jugs) and yanks to watch the water slosh.
I've watched Amarna pin her ears back when she goes into crazy mode, hunker down next to her living room water dish, and then whack it with her paw to see the water splash up and onto the carpet.
Oooh, Rachel Maddow just referred to her partner as such for the first time on her show (I'm pretty sure--she's mentioned her in passing but never said what their relationship is)! Both of their families are watching her show from off-camera tonight.

I replaced the (new! this month) waterdish with a large cheapass ziploc bowl. We'll see if that works.
