DUDE. DO NOT BOGART THE SNOW.

I mean, we still had a trace on the ground this morning, and by this evening? It was gone. I couldn't even keep the snow I HAD.

Heh. It is crazy snowy and trafficy and nasty here today. And I just heard the people on the news go "some people feel we missed out yesterday, so there you go" as I was catching up and seeing Plei's having typed that. HAH!

AND, I was supposed to have THREE DAYS OF WORK this week (off site work, which is what gives me shit to do at home. My two weeks earlier in the month, I didn't have shit to do). THEY ALL CANCELED ON ME DUE TO WEATHER (the last one today). GRRR.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Got another 5 inches of snow here overnight.

It would almost be pretty if it wasn't so fucking cold.

Programming code? Do you dislike functions?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Programming code? Do you dislike functions?

Yeah, sarameg is totally into GOSUB and GOTO and global variables....

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

So excited and happy today. I'm pleased to report that the BPAL Beaver Moon has beaten my weltschmerz into submission.

There is snow on the low mountains. I had Porto's for breakfast. Today is the last full day of work before a 3 week break. An acquaintances adoption paperwork is all approved and she is getting ready to go to Vietnam to meet her son for the first time. I'm seeing Alibelle for dinner at Ikea.

Seriously? It's such a good day that the coworker who snaked my parking space and then tried to write it off with a wave didn't even phase me.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yeah, sarameg is totally into GOSUB and GOTO and global variables....

sarameg considered harmful!

Punishingly Intricate

Yay Emily Flake in TIME! She's never not funny to me!

We're having a potluck here today and I met a friend for breakfast (in town from Hawaii for, like, 5 minutes for the holidays) so I was late getting here. Maybe I'll get a leeetle work done but probably not much. oh well!

Kat, what's a Beaver Moon smell like?
