“Not dead yet!”

I have to admit that I believe I have never believed that "Don't Stop Believing" would be the top song.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Today iTunes? Tomorrow the world

I don't believe it.

Heaven's just a funky moose.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would never stop believing!

I wouldn't mind some baked goods, though.

Unless you work for the Red Cross or are consulting with them, I have no idea. Step away. Save your sanity.

I should definitely step away. But the other person is WRONG.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

But the other person is WRONG.

I think I see the problem now. Are they on the internet?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm such a sucker/sap. I was just checking my home e-mail for my Orbitz password (so I could get my flight info for Vegas on Thursday), and saw a message from the Obama campaign. They're looking for money for the DNC and have a pretty cool t-shirt available if you donate at least $30.

I did--I love the idea of Obama stuff that has something a little extra on it, and this one has a great quote of his on the back ("We are one nation. We are one people. This is the time for change." or something like that), so I sent them my money.

Even worse -- in the next office. We have been throwing links back and forth, though....

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Did we know about this kid? [link] You must be able to listen to the sound to appreciate this.

Gun sales surge after Obama's election

I was considering buying a gun if Obama didn't win.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

They've been covering the gun-buying frenzy pretty heavily here. That included interviews with people buying handguns who said things like, "I've never owned a gun, but I thought I should buy one while I can." WTF? If you've always wanted an assault rifle, now would be the time, because the odds are the assault-rifle-ban will be reinstated, but nothing else is remotely politically possible. Some people were citing the "guns and religion" quote, but by that logic, they should be buying up all the religion too.
