Oh, dag, my cookies are good but won't work for what I had planned. I was hoping I could make little sandwiches w/ salted caramel as the filling. They are too crumbly..what to do, what to do?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Make a parfait.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Apparently people were waiting 40 minutes for the bus that I caught without having to wait one bit. I took the bus to downtown Evanston, where I bought new boots. Which means I've significantly lowered my chance of falling and breaking a limb, as my current shoes have poor traction on slush and ice.

Delicious! Sadly, I was making these (well testing them out tonight) to bring to a cookie swap. And contest.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The area those baby name people are from is central Pennsylvania, a very rural area, and unfortunately rife with people who think Adolf Hitler is a perfectly lovely name, and Aryan Nation rolls of the tongue with euphonious artistry. They know exactly what they're doing.

They're in NJ, actually. Hunterdon County, right next to the river.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Could you do some kind of salted caramel frosting style?

I don't think I cooked my filling until it was done. I hope it works out as it cools.

I'm thinking about that. I'm worried it will be too much of a mess. But I'll test it! I'm also thinking of trying some simple vanilla wafers and trying to use those.

(I hate shopping/buying tech. I get my brother to do it for me if it really matters. Me, I have no clue and am fine with that.)
