Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

having the urge to change into something more appropriate for fleeing homicidal birds than a matching dress and jacket and high heels.

What could be more appropriate?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

What could be more appropriate?

I suppose she was setting the couture standards for homicidal-bird fleeing.

What could possibly be more appropriate for facing terrifying events than a sharp outfit? How can one keep one's spirits up in tatty dungarees?

Nice work, ladies!

Okay, I just got suited up to go out for a walk/run in the cold and it just started to pour freezing rain...or possibly shoot sleet pellets. Argh! Do I wait? Brave it?

oh, yeah, it's scary sleeting. Fuck it. I'm going to start the cookies I need to make tonight.

I would take that as a sign from above and stay in.

Yeah, there are pingy noises as stuff hits my windows. I'm guessing I left work at the right time.

It's pretty snowing here! And melting when it hits the ground! PERFECT.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

We've got accumulating snow that's been coming down for about five hours now, so it's probably about 2 inches at least. Most everyone's left already to either beat or contend with rush hour, but a few of us are sticking around to avoid it entirely. I've only got a 20-30 minute drive home, anyway.
