I keep looking up and seeing the tree and thinking about how it all started with just helping her learn her lines for a summer theater camp, morphed into going over her homework several times a week, to remote babysitting and how I don't think I really began, until this year, to understand how a little amount of my time (which I enjoyed! She's a joy) really gave that whole family so much more than just that time. They've said stuff that just humbles me.
I must, simply must not lose contact with them when I move. In fact, do everything to keep up my involvement with T. It's too important.
