Those cakes are magnificient.
I'd like layer of marzipan under fondant. Doesn't that sound heavenly?

Yay!
My landlord just let us know that he will not be moving back to SF until August/September. That's a big relief, as I really don't have the money to move right now and would love to put it off until April when I have saved more and have raise/bonus/tax info.
Trudy: marzipan under the fondant sounds v. yummy.
I *knew* something like this would happen as soon as Stewart & Colbert went on hiatus. It never fails!
Seriously! We were discussing this over in the Comedy thread where I was lamenting the drought of new Stewart & Colbert (so not using a slash there) until next year.
Um. This could be a little TMI, but does anyone know how to get blood out of a cloth office chair?
Peroxide!
(Dude, I learned that trick from you!)
But, I don't have peroxide at work! I guess I can just put my sweater over it when I leave and bring some in...
Is there a first aid kit? That's what I did when what just happend to you happened to me.
No first aid kit! It is funny because we are a nursing school, so we don't have anything except in the lab for students, and then I would have to ask at the lab desk to borrow it.
Ah well-- I will live.

Oh, praise be, I'm not the only one that's happened to.
Though it's amusing to hear early-20-something young men saying to each other, "Why's there that weird stain on the chair over in the corner? It looks like good chair. I think I'll steal it."
