Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Obama is in mid-step, and he's just all lanky and loose -- he actually reminds me of Michael Jordan, in terms of his physicality, now that I think of it.

He's got that touchy-feely thing that Michael has, too. In almost any shot of him with someone, he's reaching for them, or touching their shoulder or their back, or putting his forehead to theirs. It's interesting to see. (I liked the hand-on-arm thing he did when shaking W.'s hand, and then the double-hand clasp he did with Laura.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She needs Clinton and Stacy.

Yes! That would be the BEST.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Can you even imagine? It would rock so hard.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

fucksticks

Ehh, I'm not that worried. Dean's name is being circulated as a potential HHS Secretary, and I'd rather have him there as health policy is one of his major, major strengths. And anyway, after this election, nobody in charge of the party gets to pretend that the strategy can be ignored.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

As long as he gets his props. And we get his spicy brain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, I love that necklace. If I wore necklaces that were that pretty I'd totally get that one in smoke.

It looks so floaty and delicate. I wish it were in my budget.

Since you are a on a cereal kick, we'll have to come and go to the cereal restaurant with you soon. I swear.

Damned skippy.

I've realised that my rotating fix of new people is partially satisfied by the ER. If only I weren't so messed up about it too. Chatty McTalkerson. Last ER doc, though? Hot stuff, and he smelt that good kind of clean Mmm. Distracting. And the ER nurse totally sat down to talk about random stuff and told me to look her up next time I was in.

Breakfast this morning is popcorn with Dijon and butter topping. Mmmm. I want more.

Oh, absolutely. I'd rather have his spicy brain doing policy rather than party organization, anyway.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

This picture, Tep?

I just did a screen capture -- this photo: [link]

He's just so supremely at ease, you'd think he was the one who had been living there for 7 1/2 years.

Yeah, he seems to have handled that nicely. Time to move on. Man he'd be a boon in the healthcare mess.
