I just spent 5 minutes looking for my glasses, because it turns out I decided to take them off in the kitchen, in preparation for taking a shower.

I just got an excellent deal on a new coat! It was a hundred bucks, which I thought was fine, but it turned out to be 30% off PLUS an extra 20% off! In situations like this, it is ridiculous how much I identify with the slogan on the Filene's Basement bags: I Just Got A Bargain!

During Bush's surprise visit to Baghdad, an Iraqi journalist chucked both his shoes at Bush's head. Bush, unfortunately, is a lot quicker than I expected him to be. He ducked and avoided the shoes.
Dana Perino, White House Press Secretary, was slightly injured by a microphone and received a black eye in the mele to remove the offending journo from the room.
