well I didn't think the bizcocho dough felt right. I double checked the recipe and I used double the amount of lard. good thing I was going to the grocery store anyway huh. I'll just double up on everything else in them and I guess we'll have loads and loads of cookies. Of course this means I will be baking tonight.

In about 45 minutes the family Zmayhem will be BARTing out to Concord to load up a pickup truck with all of JZ's boxes stored at her mom's house (her mom is moving to Reno), and driving them over to her dad's house to unload.

Clearing off the TiVo, clearing out the Netflix queue via the TiVo, rating my songs on iTunes (I lost the ratings with my penultimate migration, dammit).

Plumber is here. He could charge less, but I'll still own my ass, and can shower, and... well, I don't think I'll have the time to cook like I wanted, but I'm in favor of small still owning ass graces.
