Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I completely missed that bon and bob were in the LA-ish area. How lovely for the localistas. I should have hung out there longer but the PNW called to me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

dcp, I'm so sorry about your news.

The status is NOT quo.

dcp, I'm very sorry to hear that news. Yeah, cancer can fuck off.

Scrappy's party was quite wonderful, with good people and great food. I got to chat with Scrappy and her DH, Paula, Alibelle (who I finally got to meet after three+ years in LA--yay!), and a bunch of other lovely folks. I couldn't stay too long and so missed the others, but I'm glad I got to see as many people as I did.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here's an invisible graffiti.

Holy crap, that was not at all what I was expecting, but so very cool.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Whoa. That invisible graffiti is cool.

Happy Birthday, Typo Boy!

We're watching the new Elvis Costello show on Sundance, Spectacle. I am seriously loving it, esp if EC promises to sing every episode. I have loved the man and his music for so many years. He's fucking brilliant.

My dad got to be in the audience for the filming of one of those episodes. He works near the Apollo, and one of the security guards there used to be a security guard for his building, and when they needed some more people in the seats, security guard guy went over to the building where he used to work and asked if anyone there wanted to see Elvis Costello for free.
