Amarna has never learned the art of cute entreaty. Nagging, demanding--yes. Entreaty--no.
But I do find it amusing 75 percent of the time, especially when she walks on top of me, meowing at full volume, all while headbutting me and/or the couch cushion, whichever is closest, before she collapses on my chest for some petting and a very brief snooze.
Story of Puppycat's life.
You know, had I not lost my mind and named him Loki (which totally suits!) puppycat would have worked ok too. He's just...weird. Devi and MK, the ultimate bubba-lover-canine are still less puppyish than this one. Goof.
Scrappy throws an excellent party, I must say. I however felt like a NOB for not recognizing Bob and Bon for a good 20 minutes. While I was talking to them. Seriously, what happened to my brain? Can I have it back, please?
Our tree is up, but not fully trimmed yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Trudy (nick)named her and it fits far better than that other name of hers. She's frickin' puppy and will never be anything else. Luckily, she's cute.
The cat's moved to the floor, so I'm going to turn off my computer and watch some of my Doctor Who Season 4 dvds. G'night, everyone!
I am so sorry, dcp
I was thinking about Loki this afternoon, when Ozzie decided to crawl inside my duvet. It's probably less cute with a 28 pound cat than it is is with a kitten, but it was still pretty cute.
Perkins is totally a puppycat too.
lisah, where so I can avoid? I was very sad to discover PaperMoon doesn't make monte cristos with challah anymore and their veggie burgers are now faux-meat rather than ...well, veggie-faux. Freaked my veggie friend out who'd eaten there before. She doesn't want her veggie burgers to taste like meat.
Loco Hombre. Used to be so good now is sad, sad sports bar bad food.
I recommended Mari Luna to the new, looking for Mexican, residents of b'more.
