It helps. Mail here to an institute in Germany is faster than mail here to my parents, but right now I'm completely blanking on how long to Munchen takes (and my parents' mail is really fucked up.) I know Fedex is less than 5 days unless someone at customs tries to sit on the package and hatch it.
