Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Punishingly Intricate

(There's also speculation that the tip off on all this came from Obama's people as well, though I don't know how reliable that is.)

Boyfriend heard it was Rahm Emanuel.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'd buy that.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

From aurelia's link:

In a profile of Blagojevich in last February's Chicago Magazine, writer David Bernstein reported:

Privately, a few people who know the governor describe him as a "sociopath," and they insist they're not using hyperbole. State representative Joe Lyons, a fellow Democrat from Chicago, told reporters that Blagojevich was a "madman" and "insane."

That struck me at the time, as over the top. Today it strikes me as brave and prescient.

Huh. It's not funny 'cuz it's true.

Our wings are not tired.

I confess to going home for a couple hour lunch to enjoy the live news coverage. Can't wait for TDS. Ah, so much fun.

Alas, I am sure our governor's wedding will go off without a showing of ex-boyfriends. Charlie must be sure to have lots of blackmail available prior to trysts. Sad really that we don't have the big fun drama here.

Obama looks really good in the news coverage I have seen. They gotta be grateful for the quotes that show how much he was not playing along.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm very sad that Fitzmas came three years too late.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

On the radio after they cut away from the press conference, the show hosts were wondering if he would plead insanity. "I didn't have the meds I should have because as a politician it would have looked bad."

Wait...what's the story with your governor???

Our governor was rumoured to have fathered a child with a local news anchor when he was mayor but I'm pretty sure that's not true.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Our (NY/NJ) governors seem so wholesome today!
