I can do a 4 kid's on a want-loose-shoes day and a 3.5 pretty easily. I think.
This year I bought only 1 pair of shoes all year: sandals at the Zappos outlet. I am glad that I bought a ton of really great fluevogs and don't feel compelled to buy new shoes because the ones I have are well made, comfy and rockin'. I think sarameg was the one who convinced me that good shoes are worth it.
OK, how do these kid's sizes work?? I wouldn't have thought there would be that much more overlap. I mean, you can wear grownup shoes, too, right, Kat?
Sure. I wear a 6.5-7 in women's. Oddly, the sandals I have which I think are a 4 (?) are a little long but also a little wider than the brand (Born) in women's.
I'm a men's 7 1/2. I go shoe shopping and I feel like freak of nature, because half the stores don't even stock my size.
If you look at shoe length in adult sizes [link]
then compare the to shoe length in kid sizes [link] you can see the overlap.
Some shoes I can only find in kid sizes (like saddle shoes).
The puppies are up and eating. Autumn, Ayumi, and Amaya are still there. There's one boy without a collar and another boy, I think Akoni, left.
I think perhaps Ando is the one that is gone?
I wish we could just use Euro shoe sizing -- one scale for kids', men's, and women's.
I really am a fan of well made shoes. My fluevogs have taken a beating and do need to go to the cobbler for some minor stuff, but I wear the hell out of them. I do try to get them on mega-sale, though.
Today was not the day to be down in Fells Point. I don't think it broke freezing and the wind was awful.
Then I had to come home to do laundry and clean since my schedule is all off.
And I haven't gotten my brother a birthday present and it is tomorrow. And he'll be 30.
