'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Chumley was VERY indignant that I stayed in bed past 7. Kept jumping up and complaining, then I'd grab him and hold him down until he wiggled free and ran out... then repeat. It would have been annoying if it weren't so damn cute.

“Not dead yet!”

OMG, so much gronk--

The dogs decided that wrestling-- on me-- was a great way to greet the morning.

I just attempted to put chocolate milk in my coffee.

Help.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Chocolate milk in coffee sounds delicious.

I have got to get out of the house!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Nova did her usual "I'm staaaarving" routine outside the door this morning. Of course, once one of us goes downstairs and feeds the cats, she still bugs us for attention. It's a good thing she's so cute.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I too, need to leave. My cat slept in, so so did I.

I am trying to decide whether to walk to the tiny convenience type store about 10 minute away, or take the bus to the one 15 minutes away. The bus wastes a lot of time, because the return bus is an hour and fifteen minutes after the bus there. However, the little grocery store is much more expensive, and I can't use my cart anymore because of snow. I am paralyzed with indecision.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was going to go out for steak and eggs, but the thought of putting on warm clothes and walking five to ten minutes to a restaurant just didn't appeal to me. So I made oatmeal.

I'm not sure if the Godzilla Menorah or the Droidel is cooler. The Santa Jack Skellington Ornament is cool too, as is the Serenity ornament (which comes with a stand, so you can display it year round).

Another famous cat photographer: Are you on catnip camera?

This feline photographer was featured on Animal Planet.

From 6 inches above the ground, Cooper took 200 to 400 pictures a day on a miniature digital camera programmed to take one picture every two minutes. It swung from his collar, encased in plastic, to shoot rain or shine. The Crosses built a harness for him so the lightweight device would be as unobtrusive as possible. Observing Cooper with the camera, it's obvious he handles it like a pro, with no indication it bothers him.

...

"We found out on the very first roll that yes, he goes into a lot of yards and streets," Michael Cross said. "These were just beautiful shots. That's when we realized this wasn't just a geography experiment to see how far he goes. It became its own documentary art form."

Deirdre Cross is a documentary filmmaker who graduated from The Evergreen State College and made a feature about the last roaming herd of wild bison. To preserve each moment Cooper captured, the Crosses don't alter the photos. But the photos have prompted some bigger questions from these two professionals.

"If my cat can take photos prettier than what we've taken, what is art? It asks a lot about the intention behind art and how it's interpreted," Michael Cross said.

Art Crawl!!!

tommy! I'm so with you. I'm trying to gear myself up for a trip to the grocery store. But I may only have the oomph for a trip to the corner Walgreen's.

I'm out of food yes - and I have to make cookies for my office's cookie thing tomorrow. I'm thinking of doing something experimental, i.e., adding crushed Christmas candy to tollhouse cookies.
