Cute pic of mac!!
The Army Navy game was today. The new uniforms for both teams were cool. Army's was by far the coolest though. As you can see here [link] it's a camo helmet, camo pants, camo number and then battalion insignia's on the jerseys. So cool.
Oh, what a great Santa picture!
Both apparently walked in an unlocked door.
Must be something going round. A group of 3 were in my garage last night. DH was sleeping in the LR when he heard a cell phone go off about 1am. He woke and a moment later heard someone opening the door between our garage and kitchen. He yelled and they took off. Yep, door locked now. He thinks they were teens.
OMG, did you do that??
we totally did, last weekend. I figure I should see it and after this year he will probably be too old to want to. Especially since we never started the whole Santa is real thing (although he does it now, just to rebel). It was only a 25 min wait, but enh. I can't understand the people who go every year. not enough of a show for me to do it more than once.
I bet those army uniforms look awesome in a mud game.
Oh! That reminds me - Shir asked and I never got around to posting this from last weekend: [link] [link] He's not
actually
Fred Sanford, it just seems like it at times. At least he's safety conscious?
Oh, 25 minutes doesn't sound too bad. And the picture is adorable, so.
Well, I actually ordered a tree this year-- I wanted a Noble fir, dammit and nowhere around here sells them. It's all about the Scotch pines *ptui* and the Blue Spruce *meh*
For the same money we spent on a tree last year, I ordered a pretty, pretty 7'6" Noble fir that ships on Monday.
Abby wants us to put the inflatable penguin up in the front yard. Considering the level of nutty decorating that goes on around these parts, I just might. I'm thinking of getting flamingos with Santa hats, just to complete the tacky.
Typo Boy, my understanding of gentility is that it is associated with not having to work for your money. If you have property that earns money for you, especially land, that's what makes you a gentleman. But if you built up a profitable business and became wealthy that way, even if now all you do is sit around and watch the money roll in, you're "in trade" and that's not a gentleman's business.
Or so I have gleaned from reading too many Regency romances and other such novels.
I have had good dim sum with a friend and been for a long walk in the woods and now we're futzing about the house and I'm trying to think about where to go for dinner. Brewpub? Mexican? Burgers? Stand in line for Pizzaiolo?
It is a fun picture of mac.
Compare this: [link] to this: [link] (I can't find a better full-face picture of him online.)
So clear who the nose and eyes came from
I'm finally starting to feel better. I think tomorrow I'll actually leave the apartment.
