Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh! Stay in bed, man. Also push fluids. I don't know how that works with staying in bed, but it's supposed to help....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I've been in bed most all of today. I've been drinking lots of fluids, and sometimes I force myself to eat some cereal so I can take ibuprofin on a non-empty stomach. I don't think my entire body has ever hurt this much before (but the 'profin helps).

Oh yeah, the one time I was super sick, not eating was a problem. Can you order in some soup or something?

Yeah, I've got some instant miso soup, or I could walk a block to a store.

“Not dead yet!”

You don't need to be walking anywhere.

Soup soup soup! And my sympathies.

This last cold wasn't too bad, all told. The worst days were actually Tues/Weds, with glands swollen and making my head and neck hurt, but I seemed to have turned a corner yesterday. May you do the same soon.

This was a touching obit on HM, the guy with no short term memory, on NPR: [link]

Dr. Corkin sounds like she was a good person for him to have around.
