I have an LJ friend coming in tonight. So I'm going to a 40th birthday party and then spending the weekend hanging with my friend. There will be good food and maybe a movie or vids, and playing with the dog.

Hugs sweetie. I hope you get some good rest in this weekend. I catch my flight soon. Looking forward to getting home.
Thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing you, too.
I may have energy to do some Christmas decorating this weekend if you have time. I wouldn't mind setting up the tree and such.
I was thinking we should probably at least tackle the tree this weekend. I also need to figure out what I'm wearing for the XXXmas party.
Well, yeah, but you saw Fall Out Boy...
Dude, it's not like I got to make out with Patrick Stump, or something! I'd take some karmic backlash for smoochies.
I'm thinking of heading up to Eureka Springs to stay an evening at the (allegedly haunted) Crescent Hotel. Not sure if I'll be able to get a room on such short notice without breaking the bank, though.

Yeah, why not? What's his problem? Doesn't he know you're shrift?
I need to decorate. Maybe I'll get the stuff up from storage tomorrow morning. No clue on a tree - the place we usually buy from isn't back yet this year, hopefully this weekend they'll show up.
And I need to take mac shopping for his gifts to the family. Maybe we can do it all online.
I have asked for mon as a personal day, so maybe I can get stuff like cookies for teachers done then.
Mac has decided tonight that he now wants lettuce, tomato, and cheese on his hamburger - this is new.
weekend: tonight, rest on the couch and try to not be sick. watch Law & Order.
tomorrow: work on final case study, get tree, help (by stirring as per the tradition) make our annual fruitcake.
Sunday: more case study work, Xmas decorating!
Weekend: tonight: drinks with friends, tomorrow:brunch with friends and shopping, Sunday: Xmas shopping and present making?
So I bought a bunch of gifts online for my family, and I had the brilliant idea to send them directly to my parents house. I mean, my parents are 80 and they never go out, so it shouldn't be a problem for them to receive a package. Guess who was out when they tried to deliver the package? I am really hoping that whoever works at the post office will let them pick it up, because my name is on the package.
