I'm having an unlucky week. I've wiped out on ice, gotten pulled into tons of last-minute meetings, had a project come back from the dead to haunt me all week, broken a glass I liked, had light bulbs pop the moment I turn on a light, scalded my hand on coffee, AND it's four frigging degrees outside right now.
I'm bruised, scratched, and randomly bleeding, and at this rate I'm worried that I'll need a crash helmet to get through the weekend.
Well, yeah, but you saw Fall Out Boy...
next three weeks
yeah. to be fair, I had the budget info on 11/18, so I did waste a week before getting started, but no one called me in and gave me any guidance either.
Sorry about the work badness, msbelle.
This is definitely doable.
Yeah, like maybe with US!
Like maybe Feb 20-22.

I'm putting this on my calender.
Eee! My best friend's husband was just offered a tenure-track job at Auburn - which is only 3.5 hours from here! He's going to take it!
That's great news, flea!
I think your Quality of Life meter just took a big positive uptick.
oh we don't even want a dinner, "we" want a private room in bar with set appetizers.
Yeah, try an Inauguration Celebration. Much less fraught with religious connotation than Christmas, and way easier to plan for, as long as you're not in DC. Cause I think Christmas is already booked, man...
OK, am off to go shopping, because while I do have cashmere and skirt (though my skirts tend to either be too boring or too short), I do not have earring bling (I am more towards the conservative and boring) nor do I have hose. Eep. Party is at 6pm. Macy's, I hope you have good dresses cheap....
The stuff that happened and happening in Hebron this week made me so sad and angry, and a little bit scared.
I've been following the news from here, and getting worried.
This weekend: maybe synagogue tomorrow. Grocery shopping. Grading quizzes. Working on some research, maybe. Baking bread, perhaps.
