Shit's all sorts of different now.

You're making me want to dig into West Wing DVDs to find the one where CJ learns her codename.

FLAMINGO!!!

Punishingly Intricate

Also, should they be giving out those codenames?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

why some people get two or three codenames

With George H.W. Bush my guess is one for each administration (Reagan, himself, W). But that doesn't make sense for the Carters, so I don't know.

Also, should they be giving out those codenames?

It says at the top of Brenda's link. The codenames don't serve a purpose anymore, they're just tradition.

Maybe the first ones didn't work?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Huh - the Obama girls have the same codenames as Reagan's daughters.

That's better than Gore having Ethel Kennedy's codename.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So Sasha Obama is a sled?

For Barbara Bush... that second name must be for the grandaughter, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So Sasha Obama is a sled?

Better that than Hearst's reason for using "Rosebud" as the nickname for his mistress.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Better that than Hearst's reason for using "Rosebud" as the nickname for his mistress.

That's what makes it slightly disturbing for me.
