Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I've decided to board my cat over Christmas -- I'm going to be home longer than I usually go, and maybe living at the vet's for a while, they'll figure out why he's so crazy!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

God is angry that we're not sufficiently hard-line when it comes to Israel, so he sent hurricane Rita.

I love the farmer who is absolutely sure that tornadoes did not destroy his house, because he prayed and "Jesus heard me."

msbelle, I'm gonna second Beth's rec (if you were looking for one) of the Molly Bang book. It doesn't really have major coping techniques but it's a good book for kids who are dealing with anger. And for parents to talk about it. And I love Molly Bang in general who spoke to one of my classes about her work and art work and she's amazing so I try to always pimp her work.

My fave is the book, Delphine which is fantabulous.

Sophie might be a little young, but it's still a good one for E.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am not sure mac would get into a book about a girl - he is very into gender identity right now. The other book which we have used is "Taking the GRRR out of Anger". It is a little above his level, but he loved it.

ION - I have been on and off working on a database project since Jan. Low urgency - medium importance, just found out that the stand alone software I was told to use by my predecessor is not something anyone else in the company uses AND that there is another tool people use and that I should have been using. With the other tool, the entry of data would be done by someone else. GRRR!

That puts the GRRR in anger.

hmmm....tommyrot, my email at school is wack today. Could you please resend to keg0689 at lausd dot net?

Yeah. I can understand the gender identity thing.

I am stewing on this THING from a couple of things I observed this weekend. It's around the idea that things that seem so easy and perfect from the outside are usually fraught on the inside. I dunno how to explain but it's like the cracks are easier for all of us to see.

Feh.

Dunno.
