Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Turkey, cranberry, mayo. I tend to eat the Specialty's version so much that I don't need it today. Besides, I only really like the dark meat. Om nom nom nom.

Hec, you forgot to mention your walk around the park last night, with all the doggies and me!

“Not dead yet!”

Full on.

Alas, I have no turkey. Or stuffing. Or cranberry. Or sweet potatoes. The downside of having gone a'visitin' for the dinner.

Do, however, have apple pie. But I'm waiting for Lewis to get home before I have any.

The status is NOT quo.

Dear gods, someone needs to come over and help me eat my leftovers. No one took any (despite assurances that everything was really good), and I made way too much food. I'm thrilled to have leftovers, cuz yum, but wow. Help!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Definitely a highlight! Juliana was thanksgiving-ing in the nabe, so she walked over just as we were taking our post-feastie walk. So she handed over her cranberry bread and we took a tour of the neighborhood, which cheered Emmett considerably as he got to play with three different dogs out on the walk. I liked Riley, the sorta-malmute, but I think Emmett might've liked the Westie best.

Hec, sometimes you are a genius. Sean ended up with his family up north rather than us yesterday, and I know he's going to want leftovers when he gets home.

I am having a totally lazy day after two weeks of frenzied activity. I have grading and writing to do this weekend, but I have given myself permission to do nothing today, AIFG!

Yeah, thinking about Riley, I think he was just a lean-built, non-conforming Malamute.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Woot! I found a taker for our used cooking oil! Now I just hope he shows up.

DH took the in-laws and the kids to the cheese factory to buy some curds. Let me take a nap. Now I need to shower and find a babysitter for tonight.

Hec, that sounds like the perfect sandwhich!

msbelle, sorry about your dad's huffy tantrum. I hope your words made him think a little.

The news out of Mumbai is freaking me out.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have been told I can leave work whenever, but I have dinner plans with the folks at 6:30, and if I leave work, I have to clock out - it won;t affect my pay, but it will show up. hmmmm

We have some, but not much leftover. And I now have a stomach bug, so there will be no leftovers in my future.
