Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just got back from seeing Spring Awakening. Very good show--and the nosebleed seats are only $20!

Tomorrow, clean like a mofo, then cooking, then family over. Friday, sadly, work.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Pumpkin pie and cranberry relish achieved. Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans and from scratch rolls to achieved tomorrow. One guest to bring mashed potatoes, another salad, another apple pie homemade with apples grown on her own apple tree. Other guests to bring themselves.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My contribution to today's dinner may well be jellied cranberry sauce (the way God intended it) from Whole Foods.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Gobble gobble, all!

Off to my family of choice for the day. Hope you all have a lovely day with people you love.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Happy T-Day! The bread has been proofing in the fridge since yesterday, and I am about to commence baking. Nom nom nom herb bread.

Nom nom. I am lounging around thinking I should go running. But I have Sondheim on the stereo and a warm fleece blanket in my lap, so I'm inclined to just sit.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm also snuggled under fleece so I'm thinking I may not be running either.

eta: Consuela it snowed last night so today may be the perfect day to start that fic you recommended in SPN. Sounds like a perfect Turkey day to me.
