Cash, I'm so sorry.

I made rolls on Sunday and ginger-orange-cranberry relish last night. Tomorrow will be pies and brining of the turkey.

I guess I should get off my *ss and go to the grocery store if I want to make any of this.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got in and out of the grocery store in less than an hour. Got a free-range turkey in the desired weight range, spuds, fresh herbs, brussel sprouts, heavy cream, extra butter, mushrooms, wine, spices, and Straus Creamery organic eggnog.

Tomorrow I'll go by the Ferry Building and nab some rosemary rolls and some fancy cheese and tasty fruits for nibbles.

Will there be French films afterwards?

How many people are you having, Hecubus?

We have a smallish crowd: only nine adults. Hee!

Small crowd, which I had to remember while shopping tonight. Me, JZ, Matilda, Emmett, EM & my MiL.

Easy Peasey, especially since EM will make vegetarian gravy and a vegetable dish for JZ, and MiL will bring salad and another dish. So all I really gotta do is bird and starchy things (slathered in butter).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm not sure where the disconnect is occurring. Is it that onerous to say 'please' and 'thank you'? Obviously not. But clearly it rouses the rebel in her.

There is a Yo Gabba Gabba episode that deal directly with "please" and "thank you"--I'm sure she'll take direction from Muno and Plex!

juliana, NOT even close to being an asshole. You've had a shocking death in your neighborhood as well.

I'm going on the record as saying tragedy sucks.

With her two small boys running around? Not likely. More likely I will be doing lots of reading of Babar and playing of the Ssssnake game.
