I just have to wait for my boss to leave! And I think she has to leave relatively early! But I kind of thought she would have left already, so.

I get to leave in 60 minutes, however, the law review 2Ls have a paper due at 6 p.m. and I'm certain that at 5:59 p.m. a gaggle of them will rush into the library and all try to print three copies of their paper at the same time. I'm practicing my "sorry!" face right now!

Heh. When I went to college, my mother was in grad school, and one of the things she told me was to budget enough time to print stuff out. Of course, printers are a lot faster now....
The work I have to do is either complicated or unpleasant, and I'm just really not in the mood.
I keep getting more work that is both complicated and unpleasant, and it will not disappear overnight. Damn it.
I hate that shit. My only consolation at the moment is that I can leave it all until Monday.
Timelies all!

Both of my children are now done with school until Monday. Which is good. I think we all need the break.
Poor Lewis however. Black Friday looms and with it, a six or seven AM opening time. They're lucky though-- it's one of the few retail business that's not expecting any kind of downturn this holiday season.
I am so busy that I just had to have a "what are my priorities?" chat. Blargh.
Priority chats are of the good, though -- it lets managers do what they're best at, which is negotiating with the other managers/departments as to what is going to be done and when.
I remember having a job. On the whole it seems like it was a good time....
Looking for some culinary assistance. When I was in Philly, one of my favourite lunch spots was Monk's. Their particular glory was the fries - well, not the fries themselves, but this fantastic bourbon mayonnaise they served with it. (There were a couple of other restaurants in and around town, notably Nodding Head, who also offered this condiment.)
So now I'm home, and the bourbon mayonnaise concept is not such a thing around here. I've been looking for a recipe online, with no success. (Plenty of reference's to Monk's, though.) Does anyone have a good recipe for bourbon mayo?
