Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And people wonder why poodles get so freakin' neurotic.

Honestly, the poodles have perfected the deadpan @@ (most visibly in the chicken shot where she's looking at the camera) -- the freak is completely on the human side here. I respect the shit out of that dog right now, just for putting up with it.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Okay! I didn't know how creative "creativegrooming" is.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Here is a video of a cat doing something funny: Mental Health Break

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh my ... my first thought (on clicking Sue's link) was someone should contact the Humane Society, or ASPCA, or someone. Or at least stage an intervention. Did they have to feed the dog tranquilizers to get her to sit (or stand) still for that? (although the camel one was cute ... and less appalling than the others)

many others—inexplicably concentrated in the San Francisco area—who consider Fernet Branca an essential part of their diet

Not so inexplicable. SF bartenders are an adventurous lot who love having something so unique as their preferred shot.
