You know what's sad? I've only found one station mentioning last night's shooting.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm struggling to find things to put on my Christmas list for my family. Currently I have 36 books, some DVDs, and stuff like "umbrella" and "cheese grater".

I've been crazy productive this weekend.

And it appears that I probably will get dragged to the Twilight movie over Thanksgiving. Oy. I promised my mom that I'd try really hard not to be a jerk about it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"cheese grater".

I use the microplane for all of my cheese grating needs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, what about a Kindle, Perkins?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, what about a Kindle, Perkins?

That could work.

Mostly I just want to avoid getting devises for boiling water in the microwave, the way I did last year.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They have *devices* for that? I mean, apart from the actual microwave.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, you know, the old fashioned way was just too hard.

I just had a hilarious freakout. MK was up on the couch, getting petted and a portion of his fur was stained red. I was all WHAA and frantically seeing if it would wipe off and wondering what had been spilled that might cause that (I'd vacuumed some raffa earlier and it shredded and left a green dust).

It was a reflection of a book cover. Nothing more. But, damned. I am so paranoid these days.

Which is why we created microwaves. Now that's not simple enough?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Um. Fire truck just parked outside my window with lights flashing. They came into my building. No sirens or hoses though.
