The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Someone please tell me that Jilli has seen this week's South Park (Goth kids vs. Vamp kids).

Nope, I haven't. But as soon as it's available on iTunes, I'm buying it. Which is something I never thought I'd say about South Park.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

You know they've had the Goth kids for awhile, right?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Residents of the small Arkansas town of Eureka Springs noticed the homosexual community was growing. But they felt no threat. They went about their business as usual. Then, one day, they woke up to discover that their beloved Eureka Springs, a community which was known far and wide as a center for Christian entertainment--had changed. The City Council had been taken over by a small group of homosexual activists.

I particularly like the graphic -- a rainbow city skyline towering ominously over the Eureka Springs street. Because The Gays are clearly all coming from the big cities -- none of them start out in small town Arkansas.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think it very appropriate that the AFA is still offering this product: [link] [In case someone reads this post after link rot sets in - a "let your light shine" cross for the front yard that looks a whole lot like a burning cross of the sort the KKK would use.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Have I mentioned how much I love Liz Lemon? Because I do.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Someone from high school just friended me on Facebook. His current status is "neither Vamp nor Goth."

Buffistas are, as ever, my pop culture touchstone.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

A bronzer I never heard of friended me on fb so I accepted thinking it was a buffista I didn't recognize. But no. It's someone who has absolutely no idea who I am nor do I know her. Doh.

If it's who I'm thinking of, I did the same thing, but, whatever.

One of the first actions of the homosexual controlled City Council was to offer a “registry” where homosexuals could register their unofficial “marriage.” City Council member Joyce Zeller said the city will now be promoted, not as a Christian resort, but a city “selling peace, relaxation, history and sex.”

Compassionately intolerant

I'm bummed. The puppy video links aren't working for me.

eta: not even my trusty old link. I wonder if the who shebang has collapsed under the weight of adoration.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was at the dentist yesterday evening and the waiting room had Faux News on. jeepers - they had someone - Michelle something or other - talking about the violent protests from gays against Proposition 8. Saying they'd lost and they should just shut up about it (only less direct and with more words). um ... violent? they're yelling at people, which is a bit short of violent in my book.

Incidentally, insomnia sucks. IJS. OTOH, the sunrise is very pretty.
