Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy Aunting, Shrift!

For an older movie kiss, I might go with The phone making out in Notorious. Hawtt. From the '60s, Hmm. Maybe Sundance and the "Teacher Lady" in Butch and Sundance?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Rhett and Scarlet?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Congrats Auntie Shrift!

Kat had me at whiskey glazed carrots.

Went to the gym for over two hours--spent an hour on the treadmill watching c-span. It's my election methadone.

DH is going to give me a break tonight and I'm going to go to the movies and see Appaloosa. I need me some Viggo.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Rhett and scarlet came to my mind first, too.

And I really wish that Gossip Girl would do a movie/dream/flashback with Chuck and Blair as Rhett and Scarlett!

ION, the PUPPIES are in a sleeping pile!!! I want to join them and snuggle!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Congrats, Aunt shrift!!

All kinds of job/Iowa/moving~ma to you, quester. Eeks on the layoff, but yay on the paycheck!

From Here to Eternity came to my mind first, too. Then Rhett and Scarlett.

Oopsies....

I have been fairly productive today. My house has gotten a bit out of control the past 3 weeks due to excessive work schedule, so my plan for my 4 day weekend was to get it in shape.

Today, I cleaned up my 2 fans and got them ready to store for the winter and put the cover on my A/C. I've also gotten piles of crap in my living room put away finally.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that the "furreal" pony is MUCH creepier than the rocking horse.

Bravo is having a marathon or something of West Wing starting on Monday. (I have a friend who has NEVER seen the West Wing so had NO IDEA what everyone was talking about when we were talking about Josh/Rahm. I told her she had to at least record the pilot.)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've got the first two seasons of West Wing on DVD, and I've been having a mini-marathon of Season 2 the past few days. Just got done watching "Noel"--Bradley Whitford guts me every time I watch that ep.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is Mr. Whitford doing work-wise these days? I miss him on my TV.
