Hey, all, quick question...
If you had a character in a play that is an Elvis-type, and you wanted to give him a suitable name that is not Elvis, what would you call him? Cheezy or silly are okay!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Seriously, that's why I don't have a dog. Dogs are... needy. Cats can be, but generally, not 24/7, and they like their space.

Ok - yours are the exception - they ARE the space.
Also, the only Newf I've ever seen who bonded with one person
When I was a teenager, we had a cockapoo sort of like that. We adopted Mitzi from owners who couldn't care for her anymore (don't remember why). She loved me, hated my brother. Especially when he wore overalls, which were fashionable at the time. Yes, I took shameless advantage by sitting next to Mitzi as much as possible. ("If you bother me, Mitzi will attack you....")
Mitzi eventually bit my brother once too often, so we gave her away to a couple without kids.

Cats are usually lower maintenance than dogs. But each cat is different. Max loves my lap, Marie is happy knowing one of her humans is somewhere nearby.

Slick?

Hey, Ozzie is NOT A NORMAL CAT. Neither is Perkins.
Steph, insent.
And with that, I must away to doggy lama a jumping Basset mix. He's a cousin! So this should go well.
Seriously. Who expects ANY pet to be "self-maintaining"?
Cat owners.
Indoor cats (unless your home is overridden with vermin) can't feed themselves or obtain fresh water OR (I lament) change their own damn litter boxes.
Ace? Wayne? Bobby? King?

His twin brother who died at birth was Jesse Garon.
