All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Crap. Someone I know is on that list. Do I give them a "hey, you're on this list" heads-up?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Only if you feel like having a discussion.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Am busy defending myself from Nova who is trying to eat my sweater buttons, earrings and hair.(Though not all at the same time)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Not all cats are afraid of Roombas.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I missed all the Scholastic Book discussion fun, crap.

I LOVED Scholastic Books! I would pick out all sorts of books I 'had' to have.

Are there any other 'Great Brain' fans? I adored all of those books. I think I still have a few of my favorites around the house somewhere.

On the indoor pants front. Right now I'm wearing PJ's with a psychedelic print and Maleficent all over them, totally cool. Otherwise, I get home from the school and put on either a great pair of Nick & Nora pj's or t-shirt and bloomers/boxers/pj bottoms. It really depends on the weather.

The fall show opens in 2 weeks. There are so many little things left to do. We are almost done with the set, though. The local paper is coming to do an article on the kids and me on December 1. I hope the publicity gets people to the show.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I found a few Great Brain books at my parents house. I bought a couple more so my nephew could read most of the series.

I am completely unprepared to be out of town next week. Oh well! Still leaving! On top of the work insanity, I need to give myself a manicure and dye my hair.

The white is getting more aggressive. I found one on my temple in my blond streak. I'm half curious to let it grow out, but I really like this color, so probably won't. (How would I look salt & pepper? Or would it be salt and nutmeg?) But if I do keep dying my hair (14 year run now, so...likely,) I'm probably going to have to do it more frequent touch ups if the pace of white hair proliferation continues.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I'm hoping to get a trim and color next week while I'm off. I've always been a little too afraid to cut my hair myself.
