Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Would you undergo anti-ageing treatment using cells from circumcised newborn babies?

For scars? Sure. Maybe even for wrinkles if they felt too weird. In a heartbeat if it would bring back my braids.

From that same page: I suspect super models are grown in tanks.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I wish I could french braid my own hair into those dory 80s style french braid things!

Today, I'm wearing my bat clips and my purple velvet shoes. Why yes, it is Spirit Week at school. what gave it away?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think we need a "Bacon" thread....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think that lj being down means I don't have to do anything, because I keep my to-do list there. Yes, I knew they were going down and I could have moved my list, but I didn't. So now, freedom!

Or maybe not. I think I'm just feeling giddy from feeling better and from having finished my federal paperwork.

It's been years since I had my hair long. Long enough for me to forget how much I hated maintaining it. Maybe I should just grow it out. It'd be cheaper.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We just got an email that the building was told to turn the heat off -- there are a shitload of ConEd trucks outside and around the corner, doing who knows what, but the key point here is that it is 38 degrees outside. We need the heat ON! Brrr.
