Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I thought the Posh Bob was over.

Posh herself is sporting a pixie cut now.

Mindful of the overexposure of the angled bob, JZ's latest haircut is an extremely level bob. It's very fetching, especially since post-Matilda her hair is way curlier than previous.

Winter is looking more jewel toned.

This will make JZ happy.

oh son, I will bitchslap you from here til tomorrow, you really wanna go there?

Translated from the msbellish: "bitchslap" equals "punch you in the face with a fist."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

There are some good holiday colors to be had in the land of nails. The usual wine reds and greens. China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle, a deep, rich, microglitter-laden green jelly finish is spectacular enough that I bought two bottles, knowing the pain of limited editions.

For those on a budget and without a Sally Beauty card (which puts the price point of the CG polishes at $3.25), Sinful Cosmetics' San Francisco and Sally Hansen XTreme Wear Emerald City are shimmering, though not glittering, alternatives.

brillig

You inside-clothes people amuse me. The inside of my house is clothing optional, and I exercise my option often. My fleecy robe is sufficient for when it gets chilly.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I need pictures David--I'm going in next Wednesday for a cut & color and I'm working the angled bob but need to step it up a notch.

So that Columbia football player only got slapped upside the head?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

David, I hate to be the one to inform you, but there's no such thing as cool-looking sweat pants.

That said I have to admit that I might be the loserest one here because I've been known to wear what basically amounts to yoga pants to work. They are nicer looking--and a looser fit--than most, but still.... Also? Never thought I'd wear a bra to bed until I got pregnant, but pregnancy and breast feeding are hard on the girls. They needed to be held tight at night.

The problem with the Posh was that, done wrong (and it was often done wrong) it often looked like someone had pulled their hair into a ponytail and lopped off the length.

Done well, it looked great. But when I think of the Posh, I think of the hundreds of Bob Fails I saw last year and shudder.

I'm loosely planning on growing my hair as long as I can now. It's been years since I did that.

egad, how did y'all post over 50 posts while I wrote my post? That's unpossible. You had an entire conversation that contradicted my claim that my yoga-wearing pants for work was unacceptable. I am clearly far more tired and out of it than I thought. Either that or I failed to hit the refresh button before I read Natter.
