Pajamas I'm currently wearing are pink paisley pants with orange elephants around the ankles, and a white tank top with a pink and orange elephant on the front.
I do not have leg warmers. I do have slippers, because my feet get cold in the morning and I really hate the feel of socks.
My officemate keeps wearing shorts with long-sleeved shirts. I say it's weird, because legs get cold before arms do. He says that's how people dress in California. So, Californians, opinion? Is shorts with long sleeved shirts, rather than pants with short-sleeved shirts, typical California wear? And if so, why? Don't your legs get cold?
Also, juliana, have you no slippers?
I despise slippers. And socks. And anything covering my feet once I'm inside. The sweats-over-heels thing is actually a holdover from dance classes (we didn't like legwarmers, for whatever reason).
I'm wearing Batman slipper socks right now, AIFG. Askye gave them to me. I wore them when I was in labor. They're the most useful things in the world for me (I don't like regular slippers). My feet fight crime.
The Ann Arbor Moms have a very distinguished uniform, of sorts. Comprised mostly of REI, Columbia, or The North Face outerwear, dark, denim jeans or cords, turtleneck sweater with patterned scarf looped around their necks, either Uggs or some other fur lined boots (the crunchier types wear lined Crocs). Hair and make-up is perfect.
I'm a no sock person, too. Yet, once I'm sitting down I have to have something over my feet to keep them warm. It just can't be socks. Unless, I'm in bed and my feet are too cold, then I wear socks. Yeah. I can't really explain it, it just is.
I despise slippers. And socks.
You may qualify for the rare Footwear Extremist classification.
Once Upon A Time, I hated slippers, also. Until I got a pair of Ugg slip-ons. Now, I live in them inside. I put those on the instant I get home.
uppity moms
thanking dog for raggedy outer borough NYC moms. I take mac to lessons in exercise pants or jeans and a t-shirt, no make-up and I never do my hair, not even for work.

Now I'm kind of worried they're going to wear out like your Muppetskin robe.
