Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

I am cleaning the house and doing chores and mac is sitting on his butt watching tv, which is fine, but then he sees me taking pictures of his clothes to ebay and he starts whining that he should get any money from them. Zip it kid, when you buy the clothes, you can get the measley returns, I mean really.

“Not dead yet!”

Hey y'all-- a friend of mine, her boyfriend is a photographer specializing in outdoor and underwater photography. He's off in Malaysia this week, doing a Photo Week and he's posting a travel blog. Some of his pictures are absolutely AMAZING.

As stunning as some of the fish are, I think I'm partial to the sea turtles because all I can hear is Crush from Finding Nemo:

"First it was like whoa, then it was like WHOOOOOA, then it was like, whoa."

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah! Ah, how capitalism looks to the young.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, maybe not yet, but at some point you'll be able to hire him to do the listings for a cut.

I went to the open house. Very cute, and very small. But it turns out the realtor is mom-friends with someone I work with everyday! I think I've seen her at other open houses. I like her. So she's on the List. She also told me about another house in the area that was open. So I went over there. HUGE. And appropriately huger price. It was also really nice. So was that realtor, so I'll put her on the List too.

Anyway, I guess it was successful. I think I can do this. Up soon: talk mortgages.

Aaaand need to get MK back in to the vet to adjust his insulin again. He's peeing in front of litterboxes again (sure sign it needs to go up.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat, I think today's a no for me. Thanks, though. This last change of meds is really not working.

That's awful, ita.

I'm just going to focus on not going to the ER before my specialist appointment Monday morning, and not eating everything in sight. I'm not used to this new, medicine-induced, appetite.

YAY on the making progress front sara.

Well we had a meltdown, but at least no violence. I am a HUGE meanie for declaring 5 hours of tv enough for the day. All my options for things to do were deemed awful and no fun, to which I declared, yes that is part of life. ANyway, he calmed down and we worked for an hour in his room cleaning out and cleaning up. We have a pile to go down to the storage room and a pile of things to get rid of, plus he through out a ton of tiny little pieces of paper he had been holding on to. so, a success. We did not find the iPod shuffle or the missing piece to his Transformer (that was the objective), but I think we will continue the search after breaking for an hour.

Oh and I have gas again, so I am going to see if the butternut squash I cooked is still good and maybe make some soup.

I'm sorry you're feeling bleh, ita. Or rather, worse than bleh.

We have shrimp. We have crab boil. We have bunnies. I think we even have lettuce for salad.

We also have a turkey and a pork butt to be smoked. MMMMMMMM.

That place is too cute, I look at my place and am depressed.

Word. And our place in concept is cute. The problem is we have too much work crap and paper and kid stuff, including a rocking horse that has a braidable tail and mane and it also makes noises and has a tail that wags and a muzzle that moves. Noah is appropriately wary of it.
