Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

“Not dead yet!”

It's also known for manatees...yeah, sea cows.

That's the good part. They're sweet and have to deal with their own level of crap from ignorant, drunk humans who think drinking a case and then driving a boat is a good idea.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

drunk humans who think drinking a case and then driving a boat is a good idea.

And this basically defines this area.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Thank god-- I just figured it out by pressing every combination of function keys!

HA! This just happened with Taz and Tom.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

In Maine a few years ago, there was some sort of campaign selling t-shirts and posters and stuff saying, "I'd rather be on the dock with a drink on the rocks then in the drink with a boat on the rocks."

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

One of my students send me a text message. He got invited to go to the DC for the inauguration. He wanted to be sure he would be able to go and be back in time for Thespian Districts. (he'll just make it)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Kat--want to do cereal, maybe? I have only had three hours sleep so far, and my head hurts like a bitch. Huh. So maybe not so much.

'sokay. We're running around today and I would happily run your way. I dunno if you like shrimp, but we are doing a shrimp boil this eve and if you napped and felt better and wanted to join us, you could. No pressure, of course.

Our gardeners fertilized the front and back yard. Everything vaguely smells of Coalinga.

“Not dead yet!”

Dear Santa

I need my own library.

Like, a real one. With floor to ceiling shelves.

Signed,

She who just got clobbered by a half dozen large coffee table books because of how they're precariously piled.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I rushed home because I thought my watch said 12:30, but it was only 11:30, so I've cleaned the stove and behind it - many giant dust bunnies. One of the things that I dislike about living in NY is no venting to outside the building for stovetop smoke and grease.

Now to wash dishes and finish cleaning off the counters. I amy get a jump start on the ebay stuff today. I seriously need a cheerleader in the house with me to get things done.
