You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just remembered a fun piece of semi-political gossip -- my coworker apparently knows the girlfriend of Reggie Love, Obama's body man. How exciting would that be???

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

The town is called "Homosassa" and the bigots are worried about Black people? I want to start a gay resort there out of spite.

Yep...Homosassa. It's full of, ummmmm, interesting people.

They would never allow a gay resort to even get off the ground. It would be interesting to see it try. They barely allow bars in this county. There are no strip clubs or adult bookstores here, either.

Several years ago Homosassa made the news when John Cooey kidnapped Jessica Lunsford from her bedroom, held her hostage, raped and killed her.

It's also known for manatees...yeah, sea cows.

I need to get out of here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

any kinds of link that they find in research may lead to relief for the people that suffer from migraines.

Which reminds me--turning 40 soon, will need the mammogram.

Kat--want to do cereal, maybe? I have only had three hours sleep so far, and my head hurts like a bitch. Huh. So maybe not so much.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Quiet day here. I need to get a new battery for my watch, and to pick up a refill on my prescription. Otherwise, nothing.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Women who experience migraines may actually have a 30 percent lower risk of developing breast cancer, say researchers from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

I saw that. As long as I can avoid that ugly death thing, I think I prefer the breast cancer. That does imply that migraines are hormone related. I wonder if anyone has ever tried something like tamoxifen, which cuts off the production of estrogen.
