I have a ridiculous number of facebook friends from high school.
ION, it's supposed to rain here all day! I did not account for that when thinking about what I was going to do today, much of which was going to involve walking around the city. Hmph.

It was Jesse's high school friends who got me on facebook. Sorta.
A college friend came through town last night after a very promising interview about 2 hours west. So I fed her and gave her a bed and cats. Just sent her on her way home. It was good to see her. And we totally came out to each other as online peoples! I've known her 15 years and only now learn she blogs on lj! HAH.
I need to get dressed and go pick up catfood, which apparently I ordered. Buh? I put my name down on the sign up sheet, but figured I'd call with a week's notice. Um. And this was like...a month ago? I'm not quite out of food, but have to sign up to get the wet food now too, so. Man, new office staff.
do you have Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on your Facbook?
*I* don't....
I don't, either.
Timelies all!
I'm not on Facebook, nor do I plan to be. It's hard enough keeping up with lj.
I go for weeks without checking Facebook, and I don't miss it. It's hard enough navigating the social waters of LJ and B.org, much less the even messier territory that is Facebook, among people who know my real name.
I don't really think of Facebook as something I have to keep up with - I occasionally get friend requests from people I haven't seen in yonks or messages from various people and go there to check those out, and that's about the extent of it. So it's fun to have but not any real timesuck or commitment.
I love Facebook because it's so low maintenance. It's a nice way to stay in touch without having to read or write a lot.
Man, the weather here is crazy. I was woken at 5:30 when the front door blew open with a crash, slamming into the wall. Now the wind is whistling and howling, and the shrubs in front of the house and flailing around like nobody's business.
Fire weather. Oy.
