Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Art Crawl!!!

I imagine that the puppies will go at 8 weeks. Some of them a bit earlier: possibly over Thanksgiving Weekend. (Although, getting new pups over a holiday weekend isn't usually advised.)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Sophia, yes I am now trying to get a gauge. I was just being lazy before and not going with actual paying attention methods. It's looking like what I ripped out tonight was actually the right gauge. I think I just need to knot it up tighter next time. pita.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

First time? are you serious Cash? I can't count the number of times I've seen it.

In her tap class, Frances is learning a dance to "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead." Sooo cute.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I hope I didn't come across as thinking there is anything wrong with those people, just that I am not one of them.

Nah. I was just like. WAIT. I'm one of those 5 meals a day. And when I'm on top of it, it's good and I lose with ease. Then I get lazy and the 5 meals turn into like a snack at In N Out. Then it's a problem.

Mos def, any night but Tuesday!

Thursdays are a good night because K is at hockey and I'm at loose ends. I usually try to hang with someone, often Alibelle, on that night. So if you are up to it, I'll see if Alibelle will join us and we can do a Thursday at the unknown-name Greek place.

Burrell, I have been thinking of you. We're going to Kidspace in Pasadena on Sunday. If you've never been, it's super fun.

I love taking the kids to Kidspace. Bubble towers to climb, tricycles to ride, and way too much water play. Hmmm. And I'd love to see you and Noah too.

Now tagless for your comfort.

First time? are you serious Cash? I can't count the number of times I've seen it.

I know! He just never wanted to see it and we started watching it with the kids tonight.

Awwww! Liv keeps asking, "Where'd the green witch go?" I suspect she'll identify with Elphaba.

“Not dead yet!”

I read this really strange article about women living lives of the 50's, 40's and 30's. They seem crazy, but their houses are really nice. Maybe it is made up, since it is the Daily Mail. [link]

What's with the 50s wife and the flowers front and center in her hair?

The 30s one seems the most aware of the "playacting" aspect of it. She refers to the clothes as "costume" and had a far more modern cadence to her language.

One way or another, though, it takes some dedication to completely submerse yourself in period living like that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Binyamin Netanyahu basically copies Obama's entire website design: [link]

And Netanyahu, who has been around pretty much forever, is trying to position himself as the candidate of change.

Also, just noticed -- on the Russian version of his website, featured really prominently is a graphic showing Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza as all one entity -- no borders anywhere, just the outline of "Greater Israel." The Hebrew version doesn't have that -- the Hebrew one has a graphic of a crowd cheering in that space. Interesting.
