We drank The Beast, PBR, High Life, and Black Label in high school. Basically, whichever shitty beer was on sale, we drank. In college, most of the dudes drank Mickey's when they weren't drinking from a keg.

The Beast was definitely the cheap beer of choice in my college. I think PBR was just totally out of fashion at that point. (early/mid 90s)

The cheap beer of choice when I was in college was Heffenreffer aka the Green Death. That, and Corona, which was dirt cheap until it suddenly got the inexplicable cache' it did.
